About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and highly organized Supply Chain Systems Analyst to join the IT Department and support the systems, processes, and integrations that enable our distribution, inventory, fulfillment, and supply chain operations.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role that serves as a key technology partner to our Supply Chain, Distribution Center, Inventory Control, Merchandising, eCommerce, Store Operations, and Finance teams. The ideal candidate has strong experience with warehouse management systems, a solid understanding of inventory movement across systems, and the ability to translate operational issues into clear actions within systems, data, processes, or integrations.

Experience with Manhattan SCALE is strongly preferred. Experience with other WMS platforms is required. The right person will be comfortable working across WMS, ERP, POS, eCommerce, order management, carrier/shipping, and reporting environments to support inventory accuracy and operational execution.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the functional and technical support owner for key Supply Chain systems, with primary focus on WMS, inventory movement, fulfillment, and related integrations.
  • Support day-to-day WMS operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, transfers, returns, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies across systems, including WMS, ERP, POS, eCommerce, order management, and reporting platforms.
  • Analyze inventory transactions and system activity to determine the root cause of issues related to quantity, location, status, item setup, order flow, allocation, shipment, or interface timing.
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between WMS and upstream/downstream systems, including ERP, eCommerce, order management, carrier/shipping platforms, and middleware.
  • Understand, document, and maintain system configuration related to warehouse operations, inventory controls, fulfillment logic, item/location setup, and operational workflows.
  • Partner with business users and vendor teams to coordinate support tasks, enhancement requests, defect resolution, testing, upgrades, and system maintenance.
  • Create and maintain recurring inventory and operational control checks to identify issues before they affect stores, customers, reporting, or financial processes.
  • Provide escalated support for supply chain system issues, including triage, impact assessment, communication, workaround coordination, and permanent resolution tracking.
  • Lead or support UAT, regression testing, release validation, and post-release monitoring for changes impacting WMS, inventory, orders, or integrations.
  • Maintain organized documentation of system processes, configurations, known issues, test results, support procedures, and business workflows.
  • Train and support end users on system functionality, process changes, reporting tools, and issue resolution procedures.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes, system functionality, inventory controls, reporting, operational efficiency, and user experience while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain and IT.
  • Take ownership of assigned systems, support requests, projects, and operational initiatives from identification through resolution with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong planning, prioritization, and follow-through while managing multiple assignments and competing priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to execute initiatives, communicate project status and risks, and escalate issues with clear analysis, business impact, and recommended solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory control, systems support, or business analysis.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan SCALE preferred) and inventory operations, with working knowledge of inventory processes and related systems including ERP, POS, eCommerce, order management, carrier, and reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system, data, process, and integration issues, identify root causes, evaluate solutions, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with technical teams, vendors, and business users to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
  • Experience querying, validating, and analyzing system data using SQL or similar tools, and creating reports, dashboards, exception monitoring, or operational control checks.
  • Strong documentation skills, including process flows, support notes, test scripts, issue summaries, and user-facing instructions.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT, regression testing, enhancement validation, and production release support.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, manage competing priorities, and provide clear status updates.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across IT, operations, merchandising, eCommerce, finance, and external vendors.
  • Close attention to detail and strong ownership mindset, especially around inventory accuracy and operational continuity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive assignments to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to build effective partnerships across operations, technology, and business teams.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High level of accountability and professional judgment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and collaboration tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Manhattan SCALE WMS experience or with other WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, Infor, High Jump/Körber, Deposco, or similar systems.
  • Experience with middleware, APIs, EDI, MuleSoft, or system interface monitoring.
  • Familiarity with carrier/shipping systems, manifesting, tracking, parcel/LTL processes, or transportation integrations.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing and documentation platforms.
  • Experience supporting distribution centers, store replenishment, allocations, seasonal launches, or high-volume fulfillment operations.
  • Experience developing SOPs, training materials, process controls, or operational readiness checklists.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Information Systems, Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant systems, warehouse, inventory, and business analysis experience will be considered.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Inventory issues are researched quickly, clearly explained, and resolved with sustainable fixes.
  • WMS, ERP, POS, Ecom, and reporting discrepancies are actively monitored and reconciled.
  • Business users know where to go for help and receive clear communication on issue status and resolution.
  • Recurring problems are documented as controls, reports, SOPs, or system improvements.
  • Enhancements and fixes are thoroughly tested before they affect warehouse operations or inventory accuracy.
  • The analyst becomes a trusted partner to both Supply Chain Operations and IT.
  • Work is completed accurately, on time, and with minimal supervision.
  • Cross-functional partners view the analyst as a reliable and collaborative resource.
  • Risks, issues, and project status are communicated proactively and clearly.
  • Operational and system improvement opportunities are identified and acted upon regularly.
  • Problems are brought forward with analysis and recommended solutions, not just issue identification.
  • Stakeholders trust the analyst's expertise, judgment, and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
