Position Overview
The Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the end-to-end supply chain operations, with a focus on procurement and logistics coordination. The role ensures that materials and products flow efficiently through the supply chain to meet production and customer delivery requirements.
This role is critical in ensuring the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's production and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented and an agent for positive change. They will be expected to manage multiple priorities simultaneously through prioritization, organization, and time management skills for optimal remote working conditions. They will support supply chain activities across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess: (1) extensive experience in manufacturing ERP systems, (2) excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and organization skills, (3) dynamic collaboration and communication skills, (4) superior attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Procurement and Logistics Coordination:
- Assist Category Managers in sourcing activities, RFQ management, and contract administration. Support strategic sourcing initiatives across categories such as direct materials, capital purchases, and MRO.
- Work with domestic and international logistics teams to ensure timely transportation of goods. Support documentation and compliance with inbound and outbound shipments.
- Support entire procure-to-pay lifecycle including supplier on-boarding to accounts payable activities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track performance metrics of vendors and escalate issues as needed to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare reports for leadership on KPIs, supplier performance, and inventory health.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with sourcing, logistics, operations, and finance teams to support cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to improve departmental efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.

- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and have a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills – resourceful and hands-on.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles; experience in manufacturing sectors preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain and analytics software required; familiarity with international sourcing and tariffs is a plus.
- Data-driven with a keen eye for cost optimization and risk mitigation; familiarity with trade compliance a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to interface with senior leadership across regions both internally and externally.
