To ensure the success of our Field Services and Procurement operations, we are hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to support key functions across vendor management and material readiness. This role is pivotal in scaling our national service network efficiently while ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Operations, Accounting/Finance, Legal, and Field Service Delivery—to provide accurate cost estimates and assist in driving strategic procurement decisions.
This is an individual contributor role; however, the analyst may be responsible for providing guidance and oversight for temporary staff or contractors brought on to assist with specific projects or peak RFP cycles.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who excels at managing multiple priorities and has a proven track record in data analysis.
What You'll Do
Sourcing and Vendor Support: Assist Procurement team in the generation, management, and comprehensive analysis of all Annual and Ad-hoc RFPs to secure competitive pricing and maintain high-quality service standards. Facilitate and provide support in vendor discussions and negotiations with Field Service Providers (FSPs) to optimize contract terms and pricing.
Contract Management & Database: Facilitate the end-to-end contract execution process for Field Service Partners, including updates, signature routing, and secure archiving. Maintain and update the master contract and amendment database, ensuring quick, cross-functional accessibility.
Cost & Financial Modeling: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop accurate and complete cost estimates for all residential and commercial projects. Apply financial formulas and intermediate-level math for margin calculations and to evaluate strategic business decisions.
Advanced Data Management: Utilize proficient use of functions in Google Sheets and Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, data cleaning) to manage and interpret large datasets associated with regional and national RFP cycles.
AI Integration & Process Automation: Comfort experimenting with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) for data mining, asset mapping, complex analysis, and process automation, helping improve efficiency across procurement functions.
Cost Reduction Initiatives: Assist Procurement Manager in designing and executing strategic projects specifically aimed at achieving significant Field Service Provider (FSP) and Direct Tech cost reductions for residential and commercial sectors.
Who You Are
Data-Driven Problem Solver: You have a keen eye for detail and enjoy diving into large datasets to find trends, clean up inconsistencies, and provide actionable insights.
Effective Communicator: You can clearly articulate complex data or procurement needs to various stakeholders, from internal legal teams to external field service providers.
Adaptable & Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-growing startup and are excited to experiment with AI tools and new software to automate manual tasks.
Organized Multitasker: You can balance repetitive, high-accuracy tasks like contract archiving with complex, high-priority projects like national RFP cycles.
Collaborative Partner: You thrive in a cross-functional environment, working seamlessly with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure cost accuracy and material readiness.
Mission-Aligned: You are passionate about renewable energy and are driven by the goal of building a more sustainable future.
