Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer (Seattle, WA | Portland, OR | Spokane, WA)
Location: Remote – Must Reside in Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; or Spokane, WA

Impact in This Role
At Fictiv, we’re transforming how quality and trust are built into the hardware supply chain. As a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), you’ll work 100% remotely while serving as the boots-on-the-ground liaison to our manufacturing partners in the Pacific Northwest.
This is a remote position, but candidates must live in the Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; or Spokane, WA area to stay closely connected with our supplier base and customer needs.

Areas of Responsibility
- Onboard & Grow Partners – Evaluate and develop suppliers, build robust control plans, and strengthen their ability to deliver consistent results.
- Solve Problems That Stick – Lead root cause analysis, guide corrective actions, and drive preventive solutions with long-term impact.
- Raise the Bar – Use scorecards, maturity models, and QMS improvements to push supplier performance forward.
- Be Everywhere Quality Matters – Travel regularly to supplier sites in the Seattle, Portland, and Spokane areas, with only occasional U.S. trips as needed.
- Advocate for Customers – Represent the voice of our customers inside every manufacturing partner conversation.
Desired Traits, Qualifications, Education and Experience Equivalency
- 5+ years in supplier-facing quality engineering, preferably in mechanical hardware or components
- Strong mix of relationship-building and accountability with suppliers
- A process-driven mindset—you think in systems, not quick fixes
- Ability to make decisions with limited data while keeping business outcomes in mind
- Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or structured quality systems
- Strong communicator—comfortable onsite, remote, and cross-functional

About the Role
This is a remote but highly local field-driven position. Travel will be primarily focused within the Seattle, Portland, and Spokane metro areas, with occasional U.S. travel if needed. Candidates must reside in one of these markets to be considered.
