Supplier Growth Account Executive
The Supplier Growth Account Executive will be responsible for accelerating SPINS’ revenue growth within the food manufacturing ecosystem. This role will focus on selling into Ingredient Suppliers, Co-Manufacturers, Private Label Manufacturers, and other CPG supply partners, driving adoption of SPINS’ data, consulting services, and digital solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hunter and closer—skilled at building executive relationships, uncovering growth opportunities, and converting them into long-term partnerships. Success will be measured by exceeding sales targets, expanding share of wallet, and delivering measurable value to manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the sales process from prospecting through close across Ingredient Suppliers, Co-Manufacturers, and Private Label Manufacturers.
- Exceed quota by developing account plans, building robust pipelines, and consistently closing new business.
- Drive contract renewals and expansions by positioning the full value of SPINS’ Solution Suites, ensuring long-term client retention and revenue growth.
- Upsell and cross-sell SPINS’ analytics, SaaS, and digital solutions to maximize client investment and expand relationships.
- Translate data into value by building compelling business cases that demonstrate ROI and align with manufacturing partners’ growth strategies.
- Leverage industry presence by representing SPINS at food manufacturing trade shows, industry events, and client summits to generate leads and expand market reach.
- Collaborate internally with consulting, analytics, and product teams to ensure solutions are aligned to client needs and delivered seamlessly.
Requirements
- 2+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in experience selling into food manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, or private label manufacturers.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and expanding accounts through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
- Strong C-Suite relationship building skills with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals.
- Deep understanding of how consumer trends, innovation cycles, and supply chain pressures impact food manufacturing growth.
- Resilient, results-driven sales professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, competitive environment.
Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 OTE
