The Position
This position requires a variety of skills necessary for program management and leading a team in the pharmaceutical industry. This position will lead team members, resources, and program(s) to ensure the highest level of client service. This will involve leading a team of project managers and/or project coordinators focused on a business need, platform, and/or portfolio.
Weekend Day Shift position: 6AM - 6:30PM; Friday - Sunday and every other Thursday

Reports to Manager, Project Management.
Essential Functions
- Manage key project(s) and/or key program(s) with major business impact
- Act as single point of accountability for the delivery of an assigned program
- Develop and lead a team of project managers and/or project coordinators focused on a business area(s) or portfolio
- Align interests of multiple stakeholders (client programs and department) with differing priorities to quickly drive decisions
- Regularly communicate to team and across departments
- Anticipates obstacles and adjusts contingency plans accordingly
- Lead a small team of project coordinators and/or project managers and engages with portfolio management
- Support recruiting, training, and maintaining high-level project management team
- Lead team members to improve and reinforce performance of others
- Take responsibility for direct reports' performance by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring constructive feedback, and addressing performance-related concerns and issues promptly
- Work with, coach, and support direct reports in developing knowledge, skills, and abilities in the interest of performance improvement and employee's career development
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, required
- PMP Certification or equivalent, preferred
- 0-1 years of leadership experience
- GMP experience, preferred
- Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements

Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the position. Working conditions will be Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioned controlled.
