Job Summary
The Supervisor, Information Systems oversees the daily operations of IT services and systems, ensuring efficient and secure technology support for the organization. This role manages a team of IT professionals, coordinates project execution, and supports the implementation of technical solutions aligned with organizational goals. The Supervisor collaborates with stakeholders across departments, enforces IT policies and security protocols, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and operational reliability.
Essential Functions
- Supervises and mentors IT staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality support and professional development.
- Oversees daily IT operations, including issue resolution, service requests, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Manages IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with budget and organizational objectives.
- Develops, communicates, and enforces IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and compliant operations.
- Maintains secure and highly available technology systems, supporting operational uptime, business continuity, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to assess technology needs, implement enhancements, and ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
- Monitors performance metrics and service levels to identify trends, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinates response to technical incidents and participates in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or systems support required
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role required

- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and operational support practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate responsibilities, and manage performance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project coordination, time management, and resource planning.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
