As a Summer Associate in the Foodservice practice, you will gain real-world experience supporting client teams across the Food and Beverage sector. This internship is designed for rising seniors interested in pursuing careers in Insights, Analytics, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, or Market Research post-graduation.

Potential Projects May Include:

  • Supporting client teams in analyzing Foodservice point-of-sale, consumer and panel data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Leveraging Circana’s proprietary data and analytics tools to address business challenges and identify growth opportunities.
  • Translating complex data into clear, compelling stories and visualizations that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Participating in client meetings and presentations to observe how insights are communicated and applied.

Key Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field with a quantitative component; expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Interest or experience in the CPG or Retail industry preferred (e.g., coursework, case studies, internships).
  • Academic exposure to finance, economics, statistics, marketing analytics, or data visualization.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
  • Comfort with technology and eagerness to learn new platforms and tools.
  • Ability to frame business problems, design and execute analysis plans, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, USA. Preference for Chicago or New York City.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary for this role is $22.00 per hour.
