Ursa Major’s Summer 2026 Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the aerospace and defense industry while contributing to meaningful, high-impact projects that support our mission and drive innovation in propulsion and advanced manufacturing.
Ursa Major is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated individual to join our Supply Chain team as a Procurement Intern for Summer 2026. Here, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting procurement and supply chain operations in an agile aerospace startup environment, contributing directly to our mission of building exceptional aerospace products.
Responsibilities
- Support buyers in the purchasing of aerospace parts, materials, services, and capital equipment.
- Assist in managing vendor onboarding, categorization, and compliance within our vendor management system.
- Prepare business analytics and reports to inform decision-making and improve supply chain processes.
- Help resolve issues related to pricing discrepancies, delivery delays, or damaged goods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Facilities, Materials Control, IT, Finance) to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); comfortable with project management software.
- Experience in PowerBI is a plus.
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and a collaborative team player.
- Demonstrated project management skills or project coursework.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Program Details:
- Location: Northern Colorado
- Duration: Approximately 10–12 weeks
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- This is a paid internship
