AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. Our solution helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. We're backed by Benchmark, Redpoint, ICONIQ Growth, and Ajax Health. We’re a high-growth SaaS company scaling rapidly.
As a Strategy & Business Operations Associate at AcuityMD, you’ll be a trusted partner to teams across the company, translating strategy into execution and driving impact on our most critical priorities. You’ll help solve complex business challenges, build the data infrastructure that powers business insights, and identify whitespace opportunities for growth.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to take ownership early. You’ll join a collaborative, analytical, and execution-oriented team that is deeply trusted by leadership and cross-functional partners.
Team MissionBusiness Operations exists to connect strategy to execution, building the systems and insights that enable AcuityMD to scale quickly and sustainably
We work directly with the leadership team across four pillars:
- Company Strategy: Market sizing, strategic planning, and long-term vision
- Planning & Alignment: Annual and quarterly planning, leadership alignment, board preparation
- Business Data & Insights: Metric alignment, performance analysis, internal tooling
- Execution: New function incubation, high-priority cross-functional projects, risk mitigation
- Business Data & Insights: Build the data infrastructure that powers decision-making across the company: connect business systems into a unified data warehouse, define core metrics and reporting standards, and create dashboards and data tools that equip teams with the insights they need to measure performance and drive results
- Company Strategy and Market Sizing: Lead market sizing analyses, build business cases for new product and data investments, and evaluate adjacent market opportunities that directly inform long-term company strategy and resource allocation decisions
- Process & Function Incubation: Identify gaps and opportunities across the company and collaborate cross-functionally to build new functions and processes from the ground up, whether that's standing up a procurement function, implementing collections software, or stepping in to mitigate risk in core business processes
- High-Impact Special Projects: Step into critical projects wherever strategic support is needed, from board preparation and growth pilots to cross-functional initiatives that require rapid execution and senior stakeholder alignment
- You have 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or Business Operations/Finance at a venture-backed startup
- You’re analytical and systems-minded. You’re comfortable digging into messy, incomplete data and piecing together answers from different sources. When something doesn’t exist, you roll up your sleeves and figure it out, whether that means using AI to learn a new tool, automating a process, or building something from scratch.
- You’re fluent in financial modeling and use it to drive decisions, not just produce deliverables. You connect numbers to narrative and business impact.
- You bias toward action. You know when to ship a strong V1 and iterate based on real feedback.
- You thrive in ambiguity and turn open-ended problems into structured plans. You take initiative and move work forward independently.
- You’re highly organized and can juggle multiple workstreams without sacrificing quality.
- You’re curious and driven, with a deep sense of ownership and pride in your work.
- Experience in BizOps, Strategy, or Product roles at a high-growth startup
- Familiarity with MedTech and Healthcare Markets
- Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, or building analytics infrastructure
- Willingness to travel 2-4x per year for team offsites and company events
