Job Description
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Category Management and Contract Execution: Partner with internal (commercial and technical) stakeholders on clarifying short and long-term IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance sourcing requirements whilst leading the development of supplier negotiation strategies. Own opportunity assessment and initiation through contract execution.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Lead commercial and contractual requirements across ServiceNow's IT Hardware supplier profile. Craft unique supplier strategies that align to stakeholders' requirements.
  • RFx Management: Supplier interface for all RFI, RFP and RFQs. Conduct proper TCO Modeling of RFx proposals, present RFx results to stakeholders, and drive towards the closure of a sourcing decision.
  • Competitive Benchmarking and Market Research: Stay up to date on IT Hardware and IaaS market dynamics to ensure Category is properly managed. Guide stakeholders on changes in market dynamics.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with internal Sustainability teams to support Sustainability requirements with suppliers. Drive suppliers towards improving Sustainability efforts.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
  • Actively seek out industry knowledge through research, trade shows, conferences and online training, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Manage, advise, and engage in the sourcing and contracting processes in the IT Hardware, IaaS and Hardware and Software Maintenance and Support categories.
  • Conduct supplier analysis, evaluate potential suppliers, and support the overall supplier qualification process.
  • Drive best value supplier selection to drive year over year savings on over $600M spend.
  • Develop and create sourcing plans and hardware category strategies, requests for proposal, and other sourcing strategies.

To be successful in this role you have:
  • 7+ years of sourcing experience within the IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance services categories, preparing cost models, negotiating with suppliers, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
  • Experience working with industry leading suppliers such as Dell, Cisco, Juniper, IBM, Apple, Lenovo and value-added resellers, etc.
  • Experience working within the client and peripherals/consumables sourcing category.
  • Knowledge of hardware leasing (i.e., printers, MFP devices, laptops, etc.)
  • Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes, with an analytical and results focused approach.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Experience with RFx processes, contract process, and sourcing best practices.
  • Strong negotiations skills with a track record of crafting negotiation strategies and achieving optimal results.
  • First-class professional and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external relationships at all levels and across all cross-functional disciplines.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to oversee concurrent projects, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Have demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategy, governance, and structure in a rapidly changing environment.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $112,200 - $196,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
