FreeWheel, A Comcast Company is hiring a Strategic Relationship Director to the US Supply team. The role will involve long-term ownership of a publisher's executive monetization relationships with an eye toward functional and strategic partnerships that are expected to grow in importance and complexity over time.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Develop trusting and consultative relationships with monetization decision-makers at Tier 1 publishers
  • Collaborate, strategize, and execute quarterly and annual plans for growth, investment, and overall innovation with key external stakeholders
  • Establish and grow inventory access & prioritization with all partners across various points of distribution
  • Identify areas of potential growth, accelerating strategic opportunities
  • Provide thought leadership to translate strategic priorities into measurable actions aligned with revenue goals
  • Participate in technology roadmap discussions and develop new opportunities for account growth within the FreeWheel suite of products
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends while providing product feedback
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 9+ years in the Media and/or Advertising Technology space in client facing roles with a track record of growing revenue either at an video publisher, technology vendor supporting video publishers, or agency
  • In-depth knowledge on Ad serving, programmatic, yield, ad exchanges, DSP/SSP's, DMPs, and a firm grasp of the media distribution landscape
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
  • Recognized self-starter capable of flourishing in fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $176,132.16 - $264,198.24
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $78,429.00
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
