The Role
We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop, manage, and scale GoGuardian’s most important external partnerships across the K-12 education landscape. In this role, you’ll drive measurable business outcomes through high-impact education partnerships and be accountable for translating strategic relationships into revenue growth, increased product adoption, and expanded market access, while ensuring partners deliver real value to schools and districts.
This position sits on the Business Strategy & Growth team, a team focused on scaling GoGuardian’s impact through thoughtful growth strategy, ecosystem partnerships, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of partnership-led growth in education, established executive relationships within the edtech ecosystem, and the ability to influence outcomes across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing without owning those functions directly.
What You’ll Do
- Drive business performance outcomes through strategic education partnerships, including revenue growth, pipeline influence, and customer adoption
- Develop and execute GoGuardian’s education partnership strategy across technical, product, education, and mission-aligned partners, aligned to company growth priorities
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with key ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, Google, Apple, Clever, ClassLink, serving as the strategic point of contact for business alignment
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new partnership opportunities that accelerate go-to-market execution, market access, or product leverage
- Lead partnership discussions from exploration through execution, including negotiating terms, defining joint success metrics, and formalizing agreements
- Act as the internal “quarterback” for partner initiatives, coordinating closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams while respecting shared ownership of technical decisions
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to enable co-selling, co-marketing, and partner-influenced revenue motions
- Define, track, and report on partnership performance, using data to expand, optimize, or sunset partnerships based on impact
Who You Are
- 5–10 years of experience managing strategic partnerships in an education, technology, or EdTech environment with a focus on business outcomes
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth or pipeline impact through partnerships
- Existing relationships with executive or key decision-makers at large education ecosystem partners (e.g., platform, cloud, or identity providers)
- Strong understanding of the K-12 education landscape, including districts, charter organizations, privacy considerations, and procurement dynamics
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Product and Engineering teams, without direct technical ownership
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging senior external stakeholders
- Strategic, systems-oriented thinker who balances long-term vision with executional rigor
- Eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing, dynamic environment
- Fueled by the opportunity to truly impact the education landscape
- Something else? Tell us! We want to learn more about you…
What We Offer
- Competitive pay, complete health insurance, 401(k) matching, employee equity plan.
- Flexible time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and a paid year-end holiday break.
- A robust catalog of benefits that support your professional growth and personal wellbeing, including work from home funds, fertility & adoption reimbursement, and more…
Plus the intangible:
- A varied and challenging role in an innovative, global company.
- Supportive, driven colleagues who have your back and share your passion.
