About the Role

We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Director to drive top-of-funnel distribution into the HINT app through strategic partnerships, affiliates and publishers.

This role owns the full partnership lifecycle: from identifying and prioritizing target accounts to outreach, product demos, pilot structuring, negotiation, deal execution, and post-launch optimization. You’ll be responsible for turning strong conversations into structured partnerships that drive measurable growth.

This is an ideal role for someone 7–15 years into their career who wants high ownership, real revenue and growth impact, and the opportunity to help define distribution strategy at an early-stage company.

What You’ll DoStrategy & Targeting
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact distribution partners aligned with HINT’s ICP (e.g., brokerages, lenders, insurance providers, home services, fintech, etc.)

  • Develop and continuously refine target account lists and partnership theses

  • Shape outreach strategy and positioning tailored to each partner vertical

  • Maintain and evolve a structured, high-quality pipeline

Outbound & Relationship Development
  • Lead outbound outreach across email, phone, events, and warm introductions

  • Run discovery conversations to deeply understand partner goals and economics

  • Deliver compelling product demos tailored to partner value propositions

  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and economic buyers

Deal Structuring & Negotiation
  • Design pilot frameworks and commercial models aligned with partner incentives

  • Structure terms across distribution, rev share, co-marketing, data sharing, etc.

  • Lead negotiation and shepherd agreements to close

  • Partner with legal and leadership to finalize contracts

Execution & Implementation
  • Own the handoff from signed deal to implementation

  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and ops to launch partners successfully

  • Ensure partner integrations are executed smoothly and on timeline

  • Identify and implement optimization opportunities post-launch

Growth & Optimization
  • Track partner performance against defined KPIs (activation, engagement, conversion)

  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts

  • Refine messaging, commercial structures, and pitch materials based on learnings

  • Build repeatable processes that scale partnership growth over time

What We’re Looking For
  • 7-15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales

  • Experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close

  • Strong comfort structuring pilots and commercial terms

  • Ability to use CRM tools autonomously, including reporting to drive insights

  • Proven ability to negotiate and close complex partnership agreements

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to connect partnerships to growth metrics

  • Highly self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity

  • Startup experience strongly preferred

Nice to Have
  • Experience in proptech, fintech, home services, insurance, or related verticals

  • Experience with B2B2C distribution models

  • Familiarity with SaaS-style partnerships or platform integrations

  • Experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams on launches

Why This Role Matters

Distribution is a core growth lever for HINT. This role will directly shape how we scale top-of-funnel acquisition through trusted partners and strategic channels. You won’t just close deals, you’ll build the partnership engine that powers long-term growth.
