We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Director to drive top-of-funnel distribution into the HINT app through strategic partnerships, affiliates and publishers.
This role owns the full partnership lifecycle: from identifying and prioritizing target accounts to outreach, product demos, pilot structuring, negotiation, deal execution, and post-launch optimization. You’ll be responsible for turning strong conversations into structured partnerships that drive measurable growth.
This is an ideal role for someone 7–15 years into their career who wants high ownership, real revenue and growth impact, and the opportunity to help define distribution strategy at an early-stage company.
What You’ll DoStrategy & TargetingIdentify and prioritize high-impact distribution partners aligned with HINT’s ICP (e.g., brokerages, lenders, insurance providers, home services, fintech, etc.)
Develop and continuously refine target account lists and partnership theses
Shape outreach strategy and positioning tailored to each partner vertical
Maintain and evolve a structured, high-quality pipeline
Lead outbound outreach across email, phone, events, and warm introductions
Run discovery conversations to deeply understand partner goals and economics
Deliver compelling product demos tailored to partner value propositions
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and economic buyers
Design pilot frameworks and commercial models aligned with partner incentives
Structure terms across distribution, rev share, co-marketing, data sharing, etc.
Lead negotiation and shepherd agreements to close
Partner with legal and leadership to finalize contracts
Own the handoff from signed deal to implementation
Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and ops to launch partners successfully
Ensure partner integrations are executed smoothly and on timeline
Identify and implement optimization opportunities post-launch
Track partner performance against defined KPIs (activation, engagement, conversion)
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Refine messaging, commercial structures, and pitch materials based on learnings
Build repeatable processes that scale partnership growth over time
7-15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales
Experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
Strong comfort structuring pilots and commercial terms
Ability to use CRM tools autonomously, including reporting to drive insights
Proven ability to negotiate and close complex partnership agreements
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to connect partnerships to growth metrics
Highly self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity
Startup experience strongly preferred
Experience in proptech, fintech, home services, insurance, or related verticals
Experience with B2B2C distribution models
Familiarity with SaaS-style partnerships or platform integrations
Experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams on launches
Distribution is a core growth lever for HINT. This role will directly shape how we scale top-of-funnel acquisition through trusted partners and strategic channels. You won’t just close deals, you’ll build the partnership engine that powers long-term growth.
