As a Business Development Representative (BDR) on the Strategic Partnerships team, you’ll play a critical role in building and executing outbound partnership motions to engage and activate new partners. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and partnerships to develop pipeline and contribute to the growth of our partner ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about strategic partnerships, with a strong drive to stay up to date with industry trends within a high-impact team.
This is a fully remote position based in the United States. You will report to the Director of Global Advisory Partners
You Will:
- Outbound Prospecting: Build and execute outbound strategies to identify, contact, and qualify potential partners (e.g., consultancies, tech platforms, talent marketplaces).
- Lead Generation: Research and develop targeted outreach lists, craft personalized messaging, and use multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, phone, events) to initiate conversations.
- Pipeline Development: Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships team to manage and progress opportunities through the pipeline, ensuring seamless handoffs for partner onboarding.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all outreach and activities in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and partner managers to align messaging, campaigns, and materials with partner acquisition goals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and partner needs to inform outreach strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Goal Tracking: Meet or exceed KPIs related to outreach, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
You have:
- 1–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales-related role, ideally in B2B tech or HR/Workforce solutions.
- A demonstrated interest in partnerships, business development, or the future of work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- 1+ years of experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and outreach tools (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach.io) is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience in or familiarity with the EOR, global employment, or HR tech space.
- Previous work with or interest in partner ecosystems (alliances, marketplaces, integrations, etc.).
- Track record of building outbound programs or contributing to sales playbooks.
