The Opportunity
Viz.ai is transforming how health systems and life sciences companies use AI to improve patient outcomes. We're looking for a Strategic Insights Lead who doesn't just analyze data. We are looking for someone who shapes how it's understood, communicated, and acted upon.
This is not a traditional data role. It's a seat at the table where analysis meets strategy, and where your ability to distill complex healthcare data into sharp, compelling narratives directly influences client relationships, business decisions, and the trajectory of a category-defining company.
What You'll Do
You'll own the full insights process from question to answer to decision in supporting our Life Sciences’ programs. You’ll partner with Life Sciences Account Management, Product, Clinical, and Strategy & Operations teams to demonstrate product value and drive client success.
Specifically, you will:
Lead insight delivery end-to-end from scoping the right question with stakeholders, to structuring the analysis, to presenting findings in a way that drives action
Conduct impact and value analyses that quantify how Viz.ai solutions perform in real-world clinical settings
Build and own client-ready deliverables including presentations, visual reports, and dashboards that make complex findings immediately understandable to executive and clinical audiences
Develop KPI frameworks and performance narratives that give internal leadership and external clients a clear window into operational and clinical impact
Partner with business, clinical, and product stakeholders to define data requirements, pressure-test assumptions, and ensure the "so what" is always front and center
Support strategic initiatives with data-driven perspectives, bringing analytical rigor to decisions that would otherwise rely on instinct
Continuously sharpen the craft improving analytical processes, identifying gaps in how insights are communicated, and raising the bar on output quality
Who You Are
You're someone who likes turning ambiguity and complexity into clear and elegant insights. Someone who is a self-starter and a problem solver by nature. You like working with numbers but are ultimately obsessed with the “so-what” of those numbers.
Required:
Bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative, analytical, or business-adjacent field
2–5 years of experience in a role where structured analysis, clear communication, and delivering recommendations to senior stakeholders were core expectations, including management consulting, banking, strategy, or analytics at a leading organization
A track record of translating complex data into executive-ready narratives, not just reports
Experience working with healthcare or life sciences data
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you write clearly, present confidently, and know how to translate data into insights and insights into story
Preferred:
Experience at or in supporting life sciences clients
Familiarity with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or the commercial life sciences ecosystem
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar) or at minimum, visuals in powerpoint/google slides - you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to know how to make data look like something worth acting on
AI-native work habits - you use AI tools as a natural accelerator, not an afterthought
What Success Looks Like
Within six months, you're the person stakeholders come to when they need to understand what's happening and why it matters. Your deliverables don't sit in inboxes. They get presented in client meetings, referenced in board updates, and used to make real decisions. You've raised the standard for how insights are communicated at Viz.ai.
