THE OPPORTUNITY

The Strategic Events Manager will support the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact events, including industry conferences, webinars, client roundtables, and C-level advisory community meetings. You will play a pivotal role in promoting our brand, fostering relationships, including managing white glove experience for C-Level executives, and ensuring our events reflect the company’s values and revenue objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event Strategy and Planning

  • Research and identify opportunities for external and internal events that enhance brand visibility.
  • Set measurable objectives for each event, including ROI metrics and attendee engagement.
  • Manage the execution of various events throughout the year aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Develop and manage white glove experience for C-Level executives (customers and prospects).
  • Develop, manage, and execute ancillary engagements around strategic events.

Event Management

  • Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including budgeting, vendor selection, venue coordination, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, and leadership) to ensure event success.
  • Develop compelling agendas, secure guest speakers, and create engaging content to maximize audience value.
  • Ensure a seamless experience for participants, handling registration, technology platforms, and on-site or virtual troubleshooting.

Marketing and Communication

  • Collaborate with peers to create promotional materials, email campaigns, and social media assets for events.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all event touchpoints.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, sponsors, and industry influencers to enhance event reach and credibility.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Gather and analyze feedback from attendees, stakeholders, and team members to assess event performance.
  • Prepare detailed post-event reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with the Business Development and Sales teams to ensure the pipeline goals from each event are being met, including reporting on measurable objectives set for each event.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic event planning, preferably in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms, CRM solutions, and project management software (e.g., Zoom, Cvent, Splash, Marketo, Asana).
  • Comfortable with a 50% travel requirement within North America.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: 

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary with a range of $115k-$125k . Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.​
