AdAction is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to own and grow long-term advertiser partnerships across gaming and non-gaming verticals. This role is responsible for managing performance, driving expansion, and serving as a trusted strategic partner to advertisers after initial onboarding.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating advertiser goals into scalable performance outcomes, proactively identifying growth opportunities, and building durable, high-value relationships.
You will work closely with internal teams across Sales, Solutions, Product, and Finance to ensure advertisers are consistently achieving strong results and expanding their partnership with AdAction over time.
Own a portfolio of active advertiser accounts and be accountable for revenue retention, expansion, and long-term performance.
Develop a deep understanding of advertiser KPIs, growth goals, and internal success metrics.
Drive ongoing optimization across supply inventory and campaign strategy to improve CPA, ROAS, retention, conversion rates, and quality scores.
Identify and execute upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across new inventory, geos, products, and verticals.
Monitor pacing, budget utilization, and performance trends across managed accounts.
Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for advertiser stakeholders, including UA managers, growth leads, and senior decision-makers.
Lead regular performance reviews, QBRs, and strategic planning sessions.
Translate performance data into clear insights, recommendations, and next-step action plans.Proactively manage risks related to performance degradation, budget pullbacks, or shifting advertiser priorities.
Partner closely with New Sales during advertiser handoff to ensure a smooth transition and strong early performance.
Work with internal Solutions, and Product teams to support testing, optimization, and new product adoption.
Provide structured feedback from advertisers to inform roadmap priorities and product development.
Support internal planning by providing forward-looking revenue insights and account-level risk assessments.
Collaborate with Finance and advertiser clients to ensure terms are setup for partnership growth
Build expertise in assigned advertiser verticals, competitive dynamics, and UA best practices.
Stay current on industry trends, attribution changes, AI-driven optimization tools, and evolving advertiser expectations.
Represent AdAction in select advertiser meetings, events, and conferences as a strong partner voice.
2+ years of experience in performance based account management, with a preference for experience mobile advertising, performance marketing, or advertiser account management.
Proven success managing and growing relationships with measurable revenue retention and expansion.
Foundational understanding of performance marketing metrics including CPA, ROAS, LTV, retention, and conversion rate
.Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights; proficiency in Excel required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort presenting to both day-to-day operators and senior stakeholders.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Willingness to travel for key advertiser meetings and industry events.
Located in the Denver, Chicago, or Austin areas.

On Target Earnings Range: $90,000 – $120,000
