Job Description:

The Hunter role is a newly created position on the Acquisition Team, reporting to VP of Emerging Markets. On day one, this person will be given a defined list of high-potential prospect accounts—qualified as Gold, Silver, and Bronze—that represent Ping Identity’s most desirable opportunities. The Hunter’s mission is clear: open new doors, land new customers, and set the foundation for future expansion. This role is central to driving net-new revenue and accelerating Ping’s growth through disciplined execution of our land-and-expand strategy.

You Will:

  • Own and develop a defined list of Gold, Silver, and Bronze prospect accounts from day one.
  • Drive new logo acquisition by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Execute a “land and expand” strategy—winning initial deals that pave the way for broader account growth.
  • Develop and execute outbound strategies to reach decision-makers and open new doors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through close, with a focus on speed and precision.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience selling identity, access management, or security solutions.
  • A track record of success building new territories or breaking into competitive markets.
  • Exposure to value-based or solution-selling methodologies that support land-and-expand growth.

Base Hiring Range: $139,000-$160,000
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
