Strategic Account Executive, AI Agents

As enterprise customers accelerate their adoption of agentic AI, they need sellers who can translate cutting‑edge capability into real business outcomes. We created this Enterprise Account Executive role to meet growing demand for consultative, outcome‑driven selling across large accounts—closing complex deals that bring agentic AI into production, unlocking automation and efficiency, and building industry‑specific use cases that deliver measurable ROI.
This role sits at the intersection of product, customer success, and go‑to‑market. You’ll act as a strategic advisor to buyers, dynamically tailoring presentations and demos (often creating new content on the fly with agentic AI), uncovering automation opportunities, and shaping solutions that fit each customer’s unique pain points. You’ll also feed customer insights back into the product roadmap, helping Qualtrics evolve our agentic AI offerings and accelerate adoption across industries.
Success here means more than quota attainment: it means shaping how organizations use AI to improve customer and employee experiences. If you bring a track record of closing complex enterprise software deals, deep familiarity with agentic AI platforms, and a consultative, creative approach to sales — this role exists so you can scale those skills and drive meaningful outcomes for our largest customers.
How You’ll Find Success
- Consultative, outcome-driven selling: You focus on business outcomes, not features. You uncover the customer’s highest-value problems, map agentic AI to measurable ROI, and design solutions that win multi-stakeholder consensus.
- Technical fluency with agentic AI: You’re comfortable explaining how agentic platforms work, using them to create tailored presentations or demos on the fly, and ideating new, industry-specific use cases that customers immediately understand and want to pilot.
- Close-complex-deal execution: You build and advance long sales cycles, manage competing priorities across exec-level stakeholders, negotiate commercial terms, and reliably close enterprise contracts that move the needle.
- Strategic pipeline & territory management: You proactively source and qualify opportunities, prioritize accounts based on impact and likelihood to close, and consistently produce an accurate, forecastable book of business.
- Cross-functional influence: You partner effectively with product, customer success, marketing, and legal to remove blockers, accelerate adoption, and translate customer feedback into product improvements. You influence without authority and create trust quickly.
- Continuous learning and leadership: You stay ahead of AI trends, share insights across the team, mentor less experienced sellers, and iteratively refine your approach based on data and customer outcomes.

Things You’ll Do
- Drive net-new agentic AI revenue: Own quota, source enterprise opportunities, close pilot-to-production deals, and expand accounts.
- Increase win rate and shorten cycles: Create tailored demos (often with agentic AI), align buying committees, and remove commercial/legal blockers.
- Deliver measurable customer outcomes: Partner with CS to operationalize pilots, track ROI, and convert renewals/upsells.
- Shape product with customer insight: Feed VOE into roadmap, run joint workshops, and validate industry use cases.
- Build predictable pipeline & scale GTM: Maintain CRM rigor, prioritize high-impact accounts, share winning plays, and mentor peers.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- Consistent enterprise quota attainment: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets in complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles (e.g., consistent 100%+ attainment or comparable outcomes).
- Closed complex, strategic deals: Evidence you’ve sold and closed large SaaS or AI deals (pilot → production → expansion), ideally with cross‑functional buying committees and multi‑year contracts.
- Practical experience with agentic AI or automation platforms: You’ve used, evaluated, or sold agentic/automated AI solutions and can articulate business use cases and ROI for specific industries.
- Built industry‑specific use cases and outcomes: Examples of where you identified a problem, designed an AI/automation solution, ran a pilot, and delivered measurable business outcomes (revenue, cost savings, efficiency gains).
- Cross‑functional influence and product impact: Demonstrated collaboration with product, engineering, and customer success to shape roadmaps, remove adoption blockers, and capture voice‑of‑customer insights.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation: Experience structuring and negotiating commercial terms, securing favorable legal agreements, and closing deals with clear commercial impact.
- Operational rigor and forecasting: Strong CRM hygiene, predictable pipeline management, and reliable forecasting that senior leaders could depend on.
- Coaching and thought leadership (preferred): Mentored sellers, shared best practices, or produced case studies/playbooks that scaled winning GTM motions.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered within this range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
