Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.
We’re building a company for the future of compute — one that doesn’t just keep pace with the AI revolution, but helps shape it. AI isn’t just another wave of innovation. It’s a new class of technology — powerful enough to redefine entire industries, restructure society, and raise foundational questions about access, agency, and scale.
At the center of all of this are people. The right team isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s existential. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you’ll play a critical role in identifying and bringing in the engineers and scientists who will help define where AI goes next — and who gets to benefit from it.
This is not about filling seats. It’s about building the infrastructure of intelligence itself — and doing so with intention, clarity, and reach.
We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
This role is ideally hybrid, based out of Austin, Santa Clara or Toronto. Remote candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Who You Are
- An experienced recruiter (7+ years) with a track record of hiring for deeply technical roles, across AI, ML, systems, hardware, or infrastructure
- Comfortable in fast-moving environments, and grey spaces, where priorities shift and execution matters
- Curious and resourceful - you don’t wait for direction; you seek signal, act on insight, and adapt quickly
- A thoughtful communicator who can build trust with engineers, hiring managers, and candidates alike
- Grounded in a belief that who we hire shapes what we build, and who gets access to it
What We Need
- Full-cycle ownership of critical searches across our engineering and operations teams
- Strategic sourcing that looks beyond obvious talent pools and engages candidates with authenticity
- High-quality screening and candidate experience, from first outreach to final offer
- Close collaboration with hiring managers to define roles, prioritize hiring needs, and drive decisions
- A sharp eye on process: helping us scale what works, fix what doesn’t, and build a talent engine for the long term
- Excellent judgement, and ability to quickly align to vision and mission and execute from that understanding
What You Will Learn
- How to hire for one of the most ambitious, technical missions in AI today
- What world-class talent looks like across disciplines - and how to recognize it early
- How hiring choices shape organizational capabilities, long-term leverage, and company trajectory
- How to balance urgency with care, and growth with focus, in a rapidly evolving space
- How to help build not just a team - but a future where AI is more open, inclusive, and broadly beneficial
