The IT Procurement team is on the frontline of growth, business continuity and global expansion support for Coinbase. We directly contribute to the mission of economic freedom and accessibility for all, by ensuring every person at Coinbase has the physical and virtual tools required to succeed, from the very first day. We excel at global logistics, we solve problems with decisive action and a “security first” mindset, while always providing best in class service to our customers.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Own the end to end hardware lifecycle and associated system(s)
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for technology teams, with a strong understanding of the ecosystem, tools and use cases
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments and process modeling to support system enhancements and operational improvements
- Manage vendors and customers, acting as an SME in asset management with demonstrated expertise in project management
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to develop technical specifications and system solutions for the ITAM program
- Contribute to all ITP initiatives; que management, software, hardware, systems and performance monitoring, with minimal oversight and measurable outputs
- Facilitate decision-making by presenting trade-offs and technical/non-technical implications clearly
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures.
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Comfortable working with engineering, product, QA, design, vendors and business teams
- Experience with data analysis and KPIs to measure program success and set targets for improvement
- Ability to deliver under pressure and reprioritize effectively with minimal supervision
- System administration experience, specific to Procure to Pay or Asset Management
- Experience in a procurement, program management, or vendor management role
- Ability to identify and articulate requirements from a technical and business perspective
- Demonstrated success with data analytics and reporting at an enterprise level
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
- Possess a strong understanding of compliance and audit specific to procurement and ITAM

- IT or Engineering Program Management experience
