Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

• Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentor junior engineers and new team members, and apply technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
• Install, test, and administer virtualization using VMware and WindRiver tools or similar interfaces
• Implement and maintain the computer systems so they are compliant with the organization's guidelines or SOP (Standards Operating Procedure)

• Lead incident response initiatives across team members working on incident response, ensuring rapid technical response
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
• Develop automated responses to incidents so that manual intervention is not necessary
• Manage priority of issues and tickets to maintain the healthy operation of the wireless platform

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree; eight or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6 or more years of professional experience in VMware/WindRiver/Telco services and tools
• 4 or more years experience in programming using one or more of the following: Java, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby, or advanced Shell scripting

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others to clarify requirements, quickly identify problems, and collaboratively find creative solutions
• Ability to assist in documenting requirements as well as resolve conflicts or ambiguities
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $180,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
