Social Finance, LLC seeks Staff Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Lead the development and testing of our systems and services. Participate
in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Help translate user stories into
technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production
environment. Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the
team. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Communicate with project
leads, product managers and other software developers across the organization.
Collaborate and build a strong relationship with product and design. Telecommuting is
an option. Some travel to Sofi offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of
experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: Six (6) months of experience using the following special
skills: (1) IAM, (2) KMS, (3) EC2, (4) Lambda, (5) S3, (6) DynamoDB, (7) VPC, (8)
Athena, (9) Cloud Formation, (10) Cloud Watch. Any suitable combination of education,
training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel
to Sofi offices may be required.
Salary: $187,574.00 - $225,000.00 per annum.
