Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Staff Program Manager specializing in Device Certification, you will be at the helm of planning, executing, and successfully delivering device engineering projects and/or product lines. This role will serve at the forefront of our team of Device & Solution Engineering Project Managers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration of new solutions and products through robust project planning and execution, meticulously overseeing tasks and milestones to fruition. We're seeking a dynamic individual with a knack for guidance, impeccable organizational prowess, and a keen eye for detail, who thrives in our fast-paced environment dedicated to device lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead planning and execution of device and solution engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery
  • Guide project and leadership team meetings, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and collaboration with DISH teams
  • Oversee project timelines and handle certification requests and work orders efficiently
  • Update project plans and reporting dashboards weekly with Product and Project Managers
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Project Managers, fostering collaboration and excellence
  • Manage certification device tracking, SIM card inventory, and asset management systems


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field of study
  • 8+ years of experience in testing mobile devices and project management preferred


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Skilled in wireless device certification tools and processes
  • Proficient in managing wireless industry projects and product lines, including 5G network product certification
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management expertise


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
