Staff Product Designer

We’re looking for a mission driven design leader to join our growing team, shape our product, and help establish a design centered culture across the company. Your work will help millions of actual people gain additional skills, earn extra income, and run their businesses more efficiently.

• Product Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Product Design across web and mobile.
• An AI enthusiast: You’re up to date on the latest AI technology and have been trying out different tools that help give builders superpowers.
• Leadership Experience: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes.
• You are excited about building a strong design foundation, but also eager to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to ship products and features our users love.
• You’ve been part of a high functioning product and design team and have a knack for user research and UX design, but can be effective across a number of other product design functions. 
• You’re ready to take ownership design process and the end-to-end designs of the most critical areas of our product.
• Technically proficient: Mastery of Figma and comfortable with frontend engineering frameworks

• Take high level product ideas from conception through execution, across web and mobile. You'll work across a wide range of areas - product strategy, user research, and UX/UI design. 
• Play a key role in defining design quality and vision of our pro-facing mobile app (7 Million + users).
• Take joint ownership of metrics and strategy with the product team, and work collaboratively with engineering and operations to achieve goals.
• Implement the design tools and processes needed to build the foundation of a high functioning, world-class design team.
• Mentor our team of product designers and implement the design tools and processes needed to build the foundation of a high functioning, global design team.

• Management: 2+ years of experience managing small teams or leading impactful projects
• Experience working on growth teams and / or marketplace businesses.

For CA based applicants:

• The base salary for this position is $200,000 - $240,000
• This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options
