Our Story
Where and How We Work
How we’ll help you thrive
Linktree is evolving from a link-in-bio product into the control center for digital presence — where creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses curate their profile, grow and engage their audience, and increasingly turn that audience into a business.
Commerce is the layer that enables people to sell what they offer, land partnerships, and create paid audience experiences directly through their Linktree. It includes first-party (1P) commerce—people’s own offers such as physical and digital products, services, courses, and bookings—as well as third-party (3P) commerce, including affiliate and sponsored offers and brand collaborations. It also includes paid audience experiences, such as paid messaging, that allow audiences to engage more directly with creators and businesses.
We’re hiring a Staff Product Designer, Commerce to lead the design of these experiences end-to-end. You’ll shape how people set up and present what they offer, how audiences discover and engage with those opportunities, and how Linkers manage and optimize their commerce activity through insights, workflows, and intelligent automation.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving marketplace, financial, and workflow challenges — and wants to help define how people build and grow a business through Linktree.
- Lead design for Commerce across 1P and 3P commerce surfaces and paid audience experiences, along with the tools that help people manage and grow them on Linktree.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research to translate user needs and business opportunities into clear, end-to-end experiences.
- Define patterns for setup, merchandising, discovery, conversion, and management across products, services, courses, bookings, and partnership workflows.
- Shape the supporting systems around Commerce—including Media Kits, rewards, earnings insights, and optimization tooling—so people can understand performance and act on it.
- Drive alignment across teams on the principles and patterns that make Commerce experiences coherent across Linktree.
- Influence product roadmap and provide hands-on design leadership to ensure teams ship high-quality experiences across both audience-facing surfaces and business management tools.
- 8+ years of product design experience, including owning complex, cross-functional systems from concept through launch and iteration.
- Proven ability to design in systems, not just screens: patterns, flows, frameworks, and scalable UX architecture.
- Strong experience with commerce, marketplace, creator, SMB, or workflow-heavy products.
- Comfort designing across ambiguity—turning multiple earning models and constraints into clear, intuitive product experiences.
- Ability to balance the needs of multiple sides of an ecosystem, including sellers, audiences, brands, and partners.
- Strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research partners, with the ability to influence product strategy as well as execution.
- A portfolio showing exceptional craft and end-to-end thinking (problem framing → flows → UI → iteration → outcomes).
Bonus if you have experience designing for:
- Commerce platforms (products, services, bookings, subscriptions)
- Affiliate, sponsorship, or partnership ecosystems
- Creator tools or SMB platforms
- AI-powered commerce experiences such as recommendations, personalization, insights, or merchandising
