Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
This role is a key part of our Payment Services team, where we manage the high-concurrency backend services that facilitate our global transactions. The team focuses on the architectural challenges of ensuring 99.99% reliability while bridging the gap between our internal systems and a diverse network of external payment partners.
Operating in a mature Agile environment, we utilize two-week sprints, continuous integration, and collaborative peer reviews to maintain high velocity without sacrificing quality. You will help eliminate processing bottlenecks and optimize our event-driven architecture to ensure a frictionless checkout experience where every millisecond and every transaction counts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver products and features that align with business requirements, drive operational value, and enhance customer outcomes
• Define, communicate, and maintain the product vision and roadmap, ensuring the development team clearly understands priorities and objectives
• Elicit, document, and refine business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications, managing cross-product dependencies
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders, developers, QA, and other teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure products meet functional and business needs
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, while tracking metrics such as capacity, velocity, and delivery timelines
• Support product deployment and production operations, leveraging metrics and feedback to continuously improve team performance, processes, and overall delivery effectiveness

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• BA/BS in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, business administration or accounting)
• 6 + years of Product Owner, Product Manager, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills
• Self-motivation with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment
• Demonstrated understanding of and experience using Agile processes and methodologies
• Ability to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing priorities
• Jira experience a plus
• Technical proficiency in APIs, Java or JavaScript, or other programming languages a plus

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
