Why You'll Love This Role

Are you a seasoned Salesforce developer with a passion for building exceptional customer and partner experiences? Join our Enterprise Applications team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Salesforce platform; spanning Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud, while helping reshape and refine our integration, DevOps, and observability strategy.

As a Staff Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and scale solutions across our Salesforce ecosystem. You’ll partner closely with product managers and business stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, translate them into robust technical designs, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of Salesforce best practices, strong engineering discipline, and a proven track record of executing complex initiatives end-to-end.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...

  • Design & Develop: Architect, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other core Salesforce technologies. Ensuring solutions are performant, secure, and aligned with Salesforce and internal best practices.
  • Sales Cloud Expertise: Implement and configure Sales Cloud capabilities, including account, contact, lead, opportunity, and campaign management, product and price books, forecasting, and complex sharing and visibility models.
  • Service & Experience Cloud: Design and enhance Service Cloud capabilities such as case management, entitlements, milestones, knowledge, and support automation. Build and optimize Experience Cloud with a focus on usability, self-service, and secure access.
  • Integration Development: Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using custom APIs, platform events, and integration tools such as Celigo, Zapier, Serval and other middleware. Collaborate with integration and data teams to define robust, observable data contracts and handle error, retry, and reconciliation patterns.
  • Testing, Quality & Observability: Develop and maintain unit and integration tests, and appropriate test data strategies to ensure reliability and high code coverage. Contribute to and consume logging, monitoring, and alerting to increase observability across Salesforce and integrations.
  • Release & DevOps: Participate in and improve our release management and CI/CD practices, helping to mature our environment strategy, branching, and deployment automation to reduce friction and increase release confidence.
  • Collaboration, Leadership & Mentorship: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, admins, and other engineers to refine requirements, provide technical guidance, and design end-to-end solutions. Through pair programming, code reviews, and structured mentorship, help the team grow skills in Salesforce engineering, integration design, and AI-assisted development. Influence technical direction, contribute to shared patterns and frameworks, and help maintain high engineering standards across the Enterprise Applications team.
  • Agentic AI & Automation Initiatives: use and help evolve our agentic AI practices to design, automate, and optimize Salesforce workflows. Experiment with AI-driven automation, contribute to the evaluation and adoption of agentic agents, and help the team build scalable agentic applications for Salesforce and connected tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on Salesforce platform releases, new features, and ecosystem tooling. Proactively identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones - you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours

If You've Got It - We Want It

  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience: Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce applications at scale.
  • Deep Sales Cloud expertise: Strong understanding of Sales Cloud configuration and extensibility, including complex sharing/visibility, automation, and reporting needs.
  • Strong technical skillset: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flows, and SOQL. Strong grasp of the Salesforce security model.
  • API & integration experience: Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST and SOAP APIs and related integration technologies or middleware.
  • Cloud & SaaS experience: Background working in SaaS / subscription businesses and familiarity with related processes (quoting, renewals, subscriptions, entitlements, support).
  • Ways of working: Experience working in an Agile environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down complex technical and business problems and deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Collaboration, communication & growth mindset: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, distributed team. A strong growth mindset and commitment to mentorship.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant
    • Experience with Data Cloud and AgentForce development
    • Experience with Salesforce DX, source-driven development, and modern CI/CD tooling
    • Experience with JavaScript frameworks and modern front-end practices as applied to LWC or Experience Cloud
    • Experience with additional Salesforce clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, other industry or analytics clouds)
    • Excitement about the data and observability space
    • A sense of humor (bonus points for bad jokes) and, of course, an appreciation for goats
