Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of engineering projects within our organization. You will lead and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams to execute projects, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project plans
  • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to meet project requirements
  • Identify and resolve resource constraints and bottlenecks
  • Provide regular project updates and engage in stakeholder communication
  • Implement and promote Agile methodologies and best practices within the engineering teams
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Implement risk management processes and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track and evaluate program performance against established KPIs and objectives, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare reports for various stakeholders
  • Address conflicts and issues within project teams or with external stakeholders and facilitate constructive resolution
  • Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress
  • Track and report on team work performance, work completed, capacity, backlog, and velocity
  • Identify areas for process improvement and optimize project management methodologies
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal clients
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices in engineering projects
  • Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to ensure deliverables meet specifications
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations
  • Review and approve project deliverables
  • Conduct an evaluation of the project and any follow-on action recommendations as required
  • Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities
  • Coordination with teams overseas at various times of the morning and evening, so this role will need flexibility in working


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, business administration) or combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years in Program Management, Delivery Management, senior leadership roles in engineering, product management, or equivalent leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience using standard SDLC processes and methodologies
  • Proven track record of leadership of product accomplishments including successful project launches


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, including managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean principle, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, AirTable)
  • Strong technical background with experience in software development and architecture
  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages and development frameworks
  • Ability to drive technical initiatives
  • Ability to liaison between engineering teams, stakeholders, technical experts and facilitate technical discussions
  • Proven problem solving skills and ability to identify issues, find innovative solutions and make informed decisions when dealing with complex technical challenges
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to align projects to the company's long term strategic vision
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide cross-functional engineering teams to success
  • An emotionally intelligent, strong leader capable of building a high-performance team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Good understanding of setting up systems in an enterprise especially integration challenges
  • Setting up procedural guidelines to establish a successful delivery process
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in change management and be able to guide teams through transitions
  • Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter needing minimal guidance and support for day-to-day tasks

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
