About the Role 

As a “Staff Cloud Network Engineer”, you will be a part of Aviatrix's Customer Support team. This position is a critical organization as a part of our customers’ adoption of Aviatrix's enterprise multi-cloud Networking and Security Services Software. You'll guide our customers for quick and consistent adoption, accelerated integrations with our multi-cloud software products, and real-time support and strategy to ensure our customers are satisfied with Aviatrix's products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Resolve complex customer issues with Aviatrix products, prioritizing strategic deployment, integration, and optimization.

● Demonstrate strong understanding of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Aviatrix platforms with practical Linux knowledge for effective troubleshooting and implementation. 

● Have good networking skills on routing protocols like BGP and networking products. 

● Posses good hands-on experience in IaC Cloudformation, Azure Resource Manager or Cloud Deployment Manager.

● Third-party IaC platforms like Terraform and automation using Python or Go.

● Develop and implement effective case management strategies to ensure efficient resolution of critical issues.

● Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to address product bugs and verify fixes.

● Review, approve, and present RCA documents to customers to maintain satisfaction and positive sentiment.

● Document customer interactions and solutions thoroughly to enhance support processes and ensure adherence to SLA standards.

● Integrate Aviatrix solutions with complex cloud infrastructures for optimal performance and security.

● Drive the continuous improvement of the knowledge base with advanced troubleshooting methods and innovative processes.

● Mentor and lead Cloud Network Engineers in complex problem-solving and professional growth.

● Conduct training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of the engineering team, focusing on new features and technologies.


KEY REQUIREMENTS 

● Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or has equivalent work experience.

● Demonstrate a good understanding and design comprehensive cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Aviatrix platforms, and have fair knowledge of Linux and other networking vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.

● Possess understanding and knowledge on Data Centers and Campus Networks that require connectivity to Cloud.

● Possess advanced, wide-ranging experience, and provide creative solutions to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

● Network with key contacts outside your own area of expertise to achieve strategic goals.

● Lead activities that integrate Aviatrix solutions with complex cloud infrastructures ensuring optimal performance and security.

● Maintain accountability through the team for the delivery of tactical business targets.

The US National base salary range for this full-time position is $132,600-$156,600 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. [Certain roles are eligible to earn sales commission, depending on the terms of the applicable plan.]  The range displayed is the minimum and maximum target base salary and is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US. Your total compensation package will be based on job-related knowledge, education, certifications and location, per our aligned ranges.
