The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role:

This role is built for an early-career accounting professional who wants real ownership, broad business exposure, and a clear path to grow. You will work directly with the Business Unit Controller, partner with finance and sales teams, and build hands-on experience in close, rebates, intercompany, and operational accounting.

About the Team:

As a member of our Finance team, you’ll be working with professionals dedicated to excellence and innovation. At Justrite Safety Group, you'll work alongside some of the best in the industry, collaborating on impactful projects that drive business success. Our team values precision, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering results. Together, we create a supportive and challenging environment where you can grow your skills and make meaningful contributions to the company's financial strength and strategic goals.

What You’ll Do at Justrite:

  • Own reconciliations and monthly activity for assigned accounts, including prepaids, commissions, and rebate reserves.
  • Prepare recurring journal entries and month-end accruals.
  • Administer distributor rebate programs and review customer deductions and claims for contract compliance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for intercompany transactions with trading partners.
  • Partner with non-finance stakeholders to determine the correct accounting treatment for sales deductions and expenses.
  • Support year-end audit requests by preparing schedules, documentation, and account support for assigned areas.
  • Compile information needed for state and local sales tax filings across monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual cycles.
  • Help maintain strong internal controls by following and reinforcing company policies and procedures.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, and financial controls.
  • Comfort working in ERP and financial systems; experience with OneStream and Infor is a plus.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with systems such as XA, BaaN, Syteline, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to rebates, sales deductions, intercompany transactions, or sales tax support.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in making processes more efficient.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work cross-functionally with non-finance partners.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $75,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance.   Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.

Benefits:

Our benefits package at Justrite Safety Group is designed to be the best in the industry, offering everything you need to support your career and personal well-being. You’ll receive a competitive salary paired with an extensive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. We provide flexible hours and alternative work arrangements designed to support a healthy work-life balance.  These options vary depending on the specific roles and business needs.

Your financial future is secure with our 401K plan, complete with a company match, and you’re protected with company-paid short and long-term disability insurance. To ensure you’re at your best, we also offer generous paid time off, personal days, and a robust employee wellness program that supports your overall health and happiness.
