The Staff Accountant is responsible for multiple processes within accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and work within time constraints and deadlines.


How you’ll Contribute: 

  • Accounts Payable (AP):
    • Monitor and manage the invoices inbox, including responding to vendor inquiries and follow-ups
    • Enter and review vendor invoices in NetSuite daily, ensuring alignment with contracts and approvals before processing payments
    • Update AP payments from the bank daily
    • Review and process expense reports in accordance with company policy
    • Manage credit card transactions and review for proper coding
    • Prepare the reimbursement report for semi-monthly payroll
    • Review and approve ACH exceptions
  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Monitor the AR inbox and respond to customer inquiries
    • Review contracts to ensure accuracy with HubSpot submissions
    • Assist in preparing invoices and month-end workbooks
    • Manage the Aged Accounts Receivable process
    • Invoice different revenue streams for direct customers and partners
    • Prepare revenue schedules as part of month-end close
    • Assist with collections efforts
  • General Accounting & Compliance:
    • Prepare sales tax returns
    • Assist with quarterly reviews, annual audits, and special projects as assigned
    • Assist with documentation of accounting policies, processes, and procedures
    • Identify inconsistencies, errors, and provide recommendations to management


Who you are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and thorough, with the ability to prepare and review accounting documents for accuracy
  • A proactive team player who is respectful, professional, and adaptable
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
