About this role:
We are looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join our Finance Organization and focus on bringing best practices to our employees and customers. In this role, you will take ownership of the Monthly and Yearly close procedures, Bank reconciliations and Billing and Collections. You will report to Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting. Our ideal candidate is deadline-driven, has a keen attention to detail, and is ready to learn.
What you get to do:

Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including Journal Entries and account reconciliations.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.

Monitor cash balances and report on any unusual transactions or variances.

Manage customer accounts, generate invoices, collect payments, and update accounts to reflect changes.

Collaborate cross-functionally about billing, collections, and account status to timely identify and resolve any related issues.

To process and reconcile credit card transactions in Stripe and follow up on payments, as necessary.
Other Support Activities:

Participate in process improvement and financial system enhancements.

Provide audit support as needed.

Perform ad-hoc tasks as necessary and support other team members as needed.
What you bring to the role:
-
2-3 years of accounting experience, including financial close and reconciliations.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience with any ERP system.

Previous experience in billing and collection, including processing credit card transactions.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication.
-
Deadline-driven, organized, attention to detail, and highly motivated.
Bonus points if you have:

CPA (active or inactive)
-
2+ years’ experience
-
Workday ERP experience and Stripe
-
Previous experience with billing, and collection(preferred)

Understanding of GAAP and SOX.
The estimated salary for this role ranges from $95,000 - $115,000, along with an equity component. This range is merely an estimate, and the width of the range reflects willingness to consider candidates with broad prior seniority. Actual compensation may deviate from this range based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
