The Stablecoin Senior Product Manager leads the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of stablecoin-based payment and liquidity products for corporate, commercial, and business banking clients of the bank. The Stablecoin Senior Product Manager collaborates across lines of business, IT, Operations, Risk, and key strategic external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for stablecoin offerings, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Develop business case recommendations for investment to executive sponsors.
- Evaluate market entry alternatives for coin issuance, wallet management, B2B and cross-border payments, reserve management, and crypto settlement services.
- Establish partnerships with important external entities in the digital asset sector to enhance the Bank's time-to-market and presence in potential business models.
- Oversee the design, development, deployment, and profitability of stablecoin products.
- Manage integrations with blockchain infrastructure players, both existing and emerging.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., KYC/AML, financial risk management) and coordinate regulatory submissions when required. Play a lead role in identifying the right partners to help develop a stablecoin risk management control framework.
- Gather user feedback, monitor market trends, and analyze key performance metrics to refine products and drive adoption.
- Lead engagement with institutional clients and ecosystem players to expand stablecoin reach and utility.
- As opportunities are identified, build a team capable of delivering those opportunities and achieving targeted outcomes for the Bank’s clients and the Bank.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of
10 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience. 3-6 years of product management experience in fintech, payments or blockchain/digital asset sectors is highly preferred.
OR in lieu of a degree,
A combined minimum of 14 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 10 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience.
Desired Experience:
- 3–6+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or blockchain/digital asset sectors.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, stablecoin mechanics (issuance, redemption, collateralization), and smart contracts.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for digital assets.
- Familiarity with stablecoin issuers (e.g., USDC, USDT), on-chain analytics, and interoperability protocols.
- Experience developing partnerships with VC and PE-backed fintechs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into user-centric solutions.
- Familiarity with stablecoin issuers (e.g., USDC, USDT), on-chain analytics, and interoperability protocols.
- Experience with treasury asset management, reserve backing (e.g., U.S. Treasuries), and liquidity strategies.
- Hands-on expertise with Ethereum, Solana, or other blockchain platforms.
