Job Description Summary

Create and redesign broad technical infrastructure and information systems that define how servers, networks and storage systems work together to support the needs of the organization. Document current state architecture, design ideal state architecture and develop plans and solutions to deploy new solutions that meet emerging business needs. Ensure stability and scalability, anticipating capacity growth through careful planning and awareness of trends.

This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.

Overview:

Looking for a Windows DevOps engineer who has experience working in fast paced environment.  Has expertise in Windows automation through Ansible or Jenkins.  Experience with Jenkins build pipelines.  Ability to solution through automation in an efficient consistent manner. 

Required:

  • Advanced working knowledge of Windows

  • Expert Ansible coding skills

  • Jenkins experience building pipelines

  • High level solution solving skills

  • Creative automation development

  • Experience with Microservices

Nice to have:

  • Python scripting

  • Vulnerability remediation

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an established set of enterprise architecture artifacts.

  • Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of the technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations. Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the enterprise architecture.

  • Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.

  • Design and select business-critical storage, data center, and client/server environments to design solutions in line with industry best practice and provide a third-line point of escalation for appropriate global infrastructure solutions.

Skills

  • Develop and execute architectures, policies and practices in order to manage the information lifecycle needs of an organization.

  • Design architectures, incorporating system/service requirements.

  • Analyze potential solutions and create recommendations based on the expected benefits, costs, and overall value of the solution for key stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Computer Engineering, High School (HS) (Required)

$80,000.00-$145,000.00

The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
