WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in product marketing—someone who is deeply comfortable operating in complex technical domains and shaping go-to-market strategy for enterprise software. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, this role serves as a critical bridge between our product, engineering, and field teams.
The ideal candidate will be a true product marketer, skilled in translating complex technology into differentiated positioning, clear messaging, and go-to-market enablement. Experience in the Customer Data Platform (CDP) or broader MarTech space is strongly preferred, as this role requires a deep understanding of the data ecosystem, customer use cases, and the ability to clearly articulate platform value to both technical and business audiences.
Strong communication and writing skills are essential, as the role involves crafting messaging for a range of personas, building technical narratives, and producing content that supports enablement and demand generation. This person should also be comfortable leading webinars, engaging directly with customers and partners, and presenting confidently across a range of stakeholders.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly differentiate Tealium’s data products in the market—tailored for both technical and business audiences.
Execute go-to-market (GTM) plans for product launches and major feature updates, partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, enablement, and customer success teams.
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, value-driven narratives, including use cases, customer benefits, and competitive advantages—anchored in deep knowledge of the CDP and MarTech landscape.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create technical enablement assets, such as architecture diagrams, code samples, integration briefs, and product deep dives targeted at the technical/developer audience while also ensuring messaging aligns with broader business value.
Support sales and field teams with customer-facing materials, including pitch decks, battlecards, demo scripts, FAQs, and objection handling guides.
Represent product marketing in customer conversations, technical webinars, and industry events, confidently engaging with a range of stakeholders from data engineers to CMOs.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform strategy and continually refine messaging and campaign content.
Partner with demand generation and content teams to ensure messaging consistency across campaigns, web, email, and events.
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
5+ years in product marketing or technical marketing.
Strong technical acumen, with prior experience in or close collaboration with software development, engineering, or data-focused roles.
Deep familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), tag management, data integration, or related technologies—experience with platforms like Tealium (or direct competitors) is highly desirable.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft high-impact content across formats—from long-form technical content to concise messaging and customer-facing collateral.
Solid understanding of data platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data flows. Ability to build and explain architectural diagrams, technical workflows, code samples, and use case narratives with clarity.
Confident in communicating with both technical audiences (developers, IT, data teams) and business stakeholders (marketing leadership, executives), with the ability to tailor messaging appropriately.
Experienced in webinars, technical presentations, and customer-facing discussions, with a track record of delivering content with clarity and authority.
Proven success in cross-functional collaboration—comfortable partnering with product management, engineering, sales, and go-to-market teams in fast-moving, dynamic environments.
