The Technology Alliance Lead is a key technical leader, playing a vital role in building and nurturing Cribl's partner ecosystem. Their expertise in understanding partner needs, developing integrations, and enabling internal and external stakeholders is essential for driving mutual success and innovation.


As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…

The Alliance Leads responsibilities encompass a full lifecycle approach to partner engagement, spanning assessment, collaboration, integration, development, and enablement. These key areas are detailed below:

  • Understanding Partner Technical Requirements 
    • A primary function of the Alliance Lead is to deeply understand the technical needs and challenges of Cribl's technology partners. This involves:
      • Conducting thorough technical assessments of partner products and architectures.
      • Engaging in detailed technical discussions with partner engineering and product teams.
      • Documenting partner use cases, workflows, and integration requirements.
      • Analyzing market trends and identifying potential integration opportunities.
  • Relating Partner Requirements to the Cribl Portfolio
    • Alliance Leads possess a comprehensive understanding of the Cribl product suite (e.g., Cribl Stream, Cribl Edge, Cribl Search) and its capabilities. They leverage this knowledge to:
    • Identify how Cribl products can address partner technical requirements and enhance their offerings.
    • Develop compelling value propositions for joint solutions.
    • Architect and design integration solutions that seamlessly connect partner technologies with the Cribl platform.
  • Integration and Development
    • Alliance Leads play a hands-on role in developing and validating integrations. This includes:
      • Collaborating with partner engineering teams on integration design and implementation.
      • Developing and maintaining integration code, scripts, and configurations.
      • Conducting rigorous testing to ensure seamless interoperability and performance.
      • Contributing to open-source projects and community initiatives related to integrations.
  • Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams
    • Alliance Leads act as a vital bridge between partners and Cribl's internal teams. They:
      • Convey partner technical requirements and feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
      • Advocate for partner-driven features and enhancements within the Cribl product roadmap.
      • Collaborate on the design and development of new integration capabilities within Cribl products.
      • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on partner technologies.
  • Field Enablement and Training
    • Alliance Leads are responsible for empowering Cribl's field teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively sell and support integrated solutions. This includes:
      • Developing and delivering technical training sessions for Sales Engineers (SEs) and other field personnel.
      • Creating technical documentation, demos, and other enablement materials.
      • Providing ongoing technical support and guidance to the field.
  • Content and Enablement Material Development
    • To ensure widespread knowledge sharing and adoption of integrated solutions, Alliance Leads actively contribute to the creation of various resources:
      • Developing technical white papers, solution briefs, and case studies.
      • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
      • Building demo environments and proof-of-concept (POC) materials.
      • Contributing to webinars, presentations, and other marketing content.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours


If You’ve Got It - We Want It
 

  • 5 years in a technical role within enterprise software, cloud, or a related technology field, with at least 2 years focused on technology partnerships, alliances, or solutions architecture.
  • Deep understanding of data observability, log management, security analytics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and validate technical integrations between disparate systems. Experience with API integration, scripting (e.g., Python, Go), and source control (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • BONUS POINTS:
    • Completion of the Cribl User course on Cribl University, or completion of advanced Cribl University courses (e.g., Cribl Stream Fundamentals, Cribl Search).
    • Certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer).
    • CISSP, Solutions Architect (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or similar relevant credentials.
    • Prior experience presenting technical topics at industry conferences, workshops, or webinars.
    • Direct involvement in developing technical training materials, documentation, and field enablement content for internal or partner teams.
    • Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to influence product roadmaps based on partner requirements.

Salary Range ($97,000 - $181,700)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
