What You'll Do: 

  • Design, develop and implement data architecture, scope the feature roadmap and  perform integration of Salesforce Sales Cloud within the existing business system.  Specific duties include:  
  • Communicating with business stakeholders and information technology (IT)  technical resources for enterprise architecture functions such as security,  performance, development process, and application governance;  

  • Designing and documenting scalable and robust state-of-the-art architecture for  Salesforce Sales Cloud, such as CPQ, Partner Relationship Management, and  Pardot;  

  • Identifying and recommending Salesforce-based solutions, integration points and  related implementation architecture for business usage improvements, scalability,  and performance;  

  • Leveraging various Salesforce development technologies to build and maintain  solutions, including process builder, flow, workflow, APEX, VisualForce, Lightning,  Community, Workflows, Triggers, API, SOSL, SOQL, REST, App builder;  

  • Advising customer relationship management (CRM) technical staff on general best  practices for Salesforce implementation and scaling efforts; defining the CRM  system landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and  delivering solutions;  

  • Assisting with stakeholder engagement with critical business partners in the  Commercial organization along with Risk, Pricing, and Legal teams by providing  consultative guidance on system capabilities and addressing any functional  issues;  

  • Assisting with end-to-end Sales technology projects, including project planning,  status tracking, design, testing, and release activities; and 

  • Establishing the Commercial systems roadmap and evaluating complexity and  resource requirements for inbound requests including new product releases and  acquisitions.  

  • May telecommute from home office anywhere in U.S. 

What we look for:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or similar position.  

  • Must have experience with:  

  • Systems integration architecture and drafting design proposals;  

  • Knowledge of declarative and code-based Salesforce components such as  Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), flows, application programming  interfaces (APIs), or APEX; and  

  • Collaborating with Engineers to adopt systems architecture proposed by the team.

Base Pay Grade – N 

Equity Grade - 8 

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses  on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of 

factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. 

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards,  monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100%  subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.) 

USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $190,000 - $240,000

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $169,000-$219,000
