Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our PLM Platform Team, to lead or DevSecOps Team in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code strategy as we look to relocate our PLM Platforms to the cloud and standardize CI/CD practices. In this role, you will be responsible for defining vision, strategic direction, establishing standards, and deliver on our technology roadmap for our PLM DevSecOps maturity to improve responsiveness to business priorities, reduce outage downtime and improve team productivity

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into strategic architecture solutions.
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure that solutions comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
  • Gather and analyze data and develops architectural requirements at project level.
  • Monitor the performance of solutions, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior architects and other IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement in cloud architecture and solutions.
  • Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD, MES) to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in leading CI/CD and IaC automation

Eligibility Requirement

  • Hybrid role in either Cincinnati, Ohio or Detroit, Michigan area.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD in a cloud environment.  (Technologies such as: Jenkins, GitHub, Conan, jFrog, Sonarqube, Maven, Robot Framework, Selenium, Helm, Docker, AWS, Springboot, Kubernetes, ELK Stack, Nagios)
  • Strong program/product management skills.
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile methods.
  • Understanding of Lean principles and methods.
  • Experience with Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Quality processes and tools.
  • Understanding of “Digital Thread” concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective in cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of business operations, strategic direction, and priorities.
  • Understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape for GE Aerospace.
  • Leadership and technology guidance, mentoring others, and defining team skills.
  • Facilitating dialogues for innovative perspectives and recommendations.

  • Participation in change initiatives using Lean methodologies.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
