What is The Role

As the SDR Enablement Lead, you will architect the learning journey for our AMER Sales Development organization. Your mission is simple but critical: shorten ramp time for new hires and enhance the skills of existing SDRs. You will expand on established programs that have transformed performance levels for the SDR organization & take them to the next level.

Standardize the SDR Enablement Rhythm and drive high-velocity pipeline generation through a combination of high-impact onboarding, "ever-boarding," and readiness certifications that turn potential into performance.

This role requires being in-office (Austin, Texas) 3x per week

What You Will Be Doing
  • Onboarding Excellence: Deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience that takes new SDRs from "Day 1" to "First Meeting Booked" with speed and confidence
  • Enablement Delivery: Create and deploy SDR-specific enablement programs with a heavy focus on territory planning, prospecting, messaging, and outreach,
  • Alignment: Partner closely with SDR leadership to develop everboarding programs and identify emerging talent within the ranks.
  • Competency-Based Training: Transform SDR skills through continuous "ever-boarding" and formal certifications that ensure proficiency in pipeline generation skills, messaging, and MEDDPICC qualification.
  • Cross-functional excellence:  Operate as advocate & liaison with internal teams to drive best in class process, program, and messaging alignment.
  • Performance Measurement: Maintain reporting on program effectiveness and impact on SDR ramp and conversion metrics.
  • Content Management: Organize all SDR assets & learning to ensure they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
What You Bring 
  • Process excellence:  that ability to operate multiple global programs contiguously while keeping leadership informed of status, progress, & impact.
  • Sales Expertise: You have a successful track record in prospecting or full-cycle sales. You understand the grit and strategy required to build a pipeline from scratch using the modern sales stack including AI-driven sales tools, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Seismic, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strategic Coaching: A passion for mentoring and developing others, with a talent for identifying skill gaps and deploying the right remediation to close them.
  • Master Communicator and Trainer: Prior enablement experience has equipped you with excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex product concepts into digestible sales motions.


Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$106,900$169,100 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$128,200$202,700 USD
