TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: Greenwood Village, Colorado
JOB SUMMARY: Work on mission-critical projects contributing to Charter's commitment of building and expanding intelligent WIFI capabilities. Design, develop, document, and troubleshoot connection manager and analytics SDK in addition to new technology projects involving Android. Write clean and concise code that is stable, extensible, and unit-tested appropriately. Communicate frequently and effectively with developers and quality engineers on the team in addition to product owners, scrum masters, and project managers. Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend, and execute the best resolution. Implement new features within Agile delivery methodology while following Charter's established architectural principles and practices. Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications and anticipate potential errors and issues. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Plan, manage, and monitor projects from concept through implementation. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gain consensus from stakeholders to ensure the projects' successful implementation. Establish project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, and meet high quality standards and leadership expectations. Meet with internal customers of an assigned project to provide status updates and reports and gather project-related feedback. Track costs and performance, service levels, and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met. Perform software application development to implement software design to specifications. Design and develop Android applications. Perform web services development using REST, JSON, and XML. Perform analysis on systems to create functional requirements. Define the architecture of mobile applications to meet functional requirements.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 6 years of experience performing software application development to implement software design to specifications. 5 years of experience designing and developing Android applications. 3 years of experience performing analysis on systems to create functional requirements; and defining the architecture of mobile applications to meet functional requirements. 2 years of experience performing web services development using REST, JSON, and XML.
A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available.
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $124,093.

The base pay for this position generally is between
$124,093.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
