About the Role:
CrowdStrike is hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to take an important role in building and deploying sophisticated automation and confirmation solutions that support our expansive scale. We are looking for a technically adept, hands-on engineer with deep expertise in using configuration management tools such as Chef and Ansible. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines, managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting in configuration-related repositories, and mentoring others on DevOps best practices. Additionally, you will own, optimize, and maintain both monolith and microservice applications, work with container orchestration such as Kubernetes, and other technologies to maintain our infrastructure. You should be an expert in managing and optimizing large scale data services.
What You’ll Need:
Several years of experience managing large-scale, business-critical Linux-based systems.
Expert in managing and optimizing large scale data services.
Fluency in operating major public clouds such as AWS (preferred), Azure, and GCP.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar technologies
Experience with Jenkins pipelines and version control systems (Git, BitBucket).
Strong fluency in both scripting and programming with Bash, Python, Ruby, etc.
Practical experience with IT automation tools such as Chef or Ansible.
What You’ll Do:
Research and iterate optimal configurations for system and application performance and reliability.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and configuration rollouts.
Automate tasks and develop tools to increase engineering efficiency and visibility.
Enhance and maintain internal tools, frameworks, and existing DevOps solutions.
Design, build, and maintain test infrastructure, such as the frameworks and packages required to implement automation.
Maintain and improve infrastructure security, reliability, scalability, and testing.
Bonus Points:
Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.
Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, CIS, or EECS.

Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
