Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
NBCUniversal is seeking an experienced Sr Site Reliability Engineer for SharePoint and Power Platform to lead the design, development, and management of custom solutions built on Microsoft 365 technologies.
An ideal candidate would have 6+ years of strong, hands-on experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and proven knowledge of integrating with SharePoint. The engineer will work closely with business and IT teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable business applications, automate workflows, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop business-critical applications using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online (SPO).
• Integrate Power Platform apps with Microsoft 365 services and external systems using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, and SPFx.
• Provide support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for SharePoint and Power Platform applications, including end-user support and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and user-friendly solutions.
• Design, develop, and manage AI-powered Copilot experiences using Copilot Studio in Microsoft 365.
• Govern and enforce best practices for Power Platform and SharePoint Online, including security, compliance, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all applications, customizations, configurations, and migration activities.
• Monitor app performance and implement recommendations to improve functionality, scalability, and user experience.
• Experience working with Sharegate tool for SharePoint site, list, and data migration.
• Work with CI/CD pipeline processes on the Power Platform for transferring solutions from unmanaged environments to managed environments or migrating them to different environments and tenants.
• Create custom reports and dashboards with Graph API to provide insights on SharePoint and Power Platform usage and performance.
• Experience in Power Platform COE for both development and production environments, ensuring effective oversight and administration of managed and unmanaged environments.
• Deep understanding of PowerShell scripting, specifically with the SharePoint Online Management Shell, PNP PowerShell and Microsoft Azure PowerShell

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Proven knowledge of integrating with SharePoint.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in Agile development environments.
• Experience building enterprise-wide solutions in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Strong experience with SharePoint Online development (custom lists, libraries, SharePoint REST API, permissions management, etc.).
• Solid understanding of Dataverse, Common Data Service, and connectors within Power Platform.
• Experience in integrating Power Platform solutions with third-party services (e.g., via REST APIs).
• Passion for emerging AI technologies and staying up to date with industry trends, best practices.

Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000
