What You Will Be Doing

  • We're looking for an experienced, driven, and highly-technical software engineer who wants to build crazy stuff from the ground up.
  • PlanetiQ is building an advanced GNSS radiooccultation data preprocessing and assimilation (DA) system for numerical weather prediction (NWP) to probe the Earth’s troposphere in unprecedented detail.
  • You will be able to wear multiple hats in a dynamic startup environment according to your skills and interests. For example, you may also have the opportunity to implement signal processing software in an embedded realtime remote sensing environment in low-Earth orbit, contribute to relational database schema design, or analyze analog microwave RF signal filters.
  • You will design, code, test, evolve, and debug new and existing features in a Linux-based cloud-hosted computing environment.
  • You will participate in agile planning and code reviews, hitting deadlines according to the predicted schedule.
  • Operate in a hybrid workplace, at least three days per week in our Golden, CO office.

What's In It for You?

  • 160k - 220k base salary, commensurate with talent and experience.
