About the role
As a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining the strategic technical direction for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud within complex financial services and insurance environments. You will lead high-impact projects, mentor project teams, and act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders, driving scalable and innovative Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
What you'll do
- Establish and own the architectural vision and governance for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud initiatives within external client contexts.
- Drive large-scale, complex solution designs across multiple Salesforce environments, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical standards.
- Collaborate at C-suite and executive levels to understand business priorities and translate them into long-term technology roadmaps and Salesforce architectures.
- Lead and mentor a team of architects, technical leads, and admins, fostering best practices in design, integration, security, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory frameworks and embed security and data privacy principles into all solution designs.
- Champion innovative use of Salesforce features, including advanced Financial Services core capabilities, Salesforce Industries, and emerging technologies.
- Oversee architectural risk assessments, cost-benefit analyses, and capacity planning for Salesforce implementations.
- Partner closely with product owners, delivery leads, admins, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution and high-quality deliverables.
- Represent the organization in client-facing engagements, pre-sales activities, and industry forums.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors’ degree in a related field, and at least 8 years’ experience working as a Salesforce Solution Architect.
- Hands-on experience to Financial Services Cloud deployments.
- Familiarity with insurance business processes, including underwriting, claims management, policy lifecycle, and billing systems.
- Proven track record designing and delivering complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions with multiple integrations.
- Financial Services Cloud Consultant Certification strongly desired.
- Expertise in Salesforce architecture including declarative and programmatic frameworks, integration patterns, data modeling, and security design.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Industries insurance modules and advanced customization.
- Prior consulting experience with Salesforce services firms.
- Prior experience working as part of the Salesforce Professional Services team.

- Candidates must be able to accommodate a working schedule of 8:30am - 5:30pm EST.
