Zoom is looking for a Sr. Sales Operations Business Partner ( SSBP ) to lead our strategy and operations efforts for our Global Small Business Segment. The SSBP will run the business in tandem with our Global Small Business Sales Leader and its day to day operations. This includes headcount planning, territory design, quota setting and forecasting support. This person plays a key role in defining strategy around account segmentation, go-to-market coverage, and sales organization structure. This role is expected to partner with executives across the whole company, including Insights + Analytics, Finance, Legal, Enablement, Channel, & Marketing as they evaluate business problems, design and then implement actionable recommendations that support the sales teams ability to achieve their goals. Success in this role is helping us both grow the top line revenue of the business and increasing its profitability. This person will have a heavy influence in how we deploy our assets to maximize our return on investment.
The SSBP must be a proactive, analytical thinker that has the ability to work in a structured manner to drive growth and operational excellence across the whole sales organization. They need to excel at balancing strategic thinking with pragmatic independent execution and enjoy solving complex problems.
This role reports to the Head of Global Business Partners within the Global Sales Operations and Enablement function
Responsibilities:

  • Structure and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and track success metrics
  • Partner extensively with the Go to Market Insights team to understand the quantified view of the market opportunity. This understanding will help you to make recommendations on optimizing sales resource planning and quota planning accordingly
  • Define, manage, and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive consistency in pipeline hygiene and sales methodology execution
  • Become a subject matter expert on Sales Policies which include Sales Segmentation definitions, Sales Commission Terms and Conditions and the Global Rules of Engagement. This may include weighing in to help resolve any disputes over policy that may arise
  • Understand the impact of Privacy and Security issues as the impact Zoom across the business
  • Quickly synthesize information, structure a concise, clear presentation of findings to an executive audience and prioritize issues as appropriate (to be shared in Executive Presentations, QBRs, etc.)
  • Lead cross functional initiatives to transform and streamline processes to drive improved sales productivity and velocity
  • Working in partnership with Sale Enablement and GTM Insights. Deliver a unified and connected planning and best practice environment around quota management, territory management, pipeline management, forecasting, quarterly business reviews and GTM Planning, in collaboration Financial Planning & Analysis, Data Management, Enterprise Systems teams, Marketing, Marketing Operations, Human Resources and Sales Support, all of which support a world class sales organization
  • Drive operational efficiencies by partnering with Global Operations extended team to automate and improve processes, tools, and dashboards that scale as the business expands globally


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of work experience in Global Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, or Business Operations
  • 5 years experience with SaaS, B2B, multi-product and technical sales business models, with a preference to high growth companies.
  • Must be highly proficient in Salesforce.com, Google docs, Excel, and technically savvy for other key sales applications; will consider another CRM proficiency
  • Direct or indirect management experience with global sales leaders in worldwide regions
  • Comfort with C-level presentations, meetings, strategy discussions, yet possesses the ability to connect with field sales reps
  • Outcomes-oriented approach to sales and sales operations with corresponding experience managing key metrics for success
  • Strong business acumen, strong reporting and analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills


Educational Requirements

  • BS Degree in business, economics, communications or other disciplines is preferred but not required
  • MBA degree preferred but not required, will also consider an MA with a specific discipline
  • Certificates in global strategy or business analytics from credentialed universities also preferred

Minimum:
$105,600.00
Maximum:
$195,400.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
