Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. You will develop a vision with an important market on the level of a product line with a long term perspective. Leads business development planning processes for this market, specifically working with CoLo Data Center customers (Equinix, Coresite, CyrusOne, etc.)
As a Senior Sales Manager - Data Centers, you will be responsible for:
- Handling products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the Data Center environment where the products and systems will be used.
- Processing Sales requiring technical analysis and adaptation to client, market and ecosystem conditions.
- Accessing to DC on-site power projects, leveraging own network of owners/operators, engineering companies and other players in the ecosystem to develop and execute the DC Go-To-Market strategy for the CoLo market
- Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.
- Managing the technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects are involved in creating a proposal.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 5+ years of successful complex solutions sales experience.
- Have proven knowledge about Data Center ecosystem specifically including CoLo customers.
- Have 2+ years of direct experience selling into data center projects on a national basis
- Have experience with long-term planning of resources, technology and account structure
- Be able to travel at least 50% of the time to customers
- Preferred experience selling power generation products (utilities and regulated energy markets)
