This position will be fully remote and can be hired anywhere in the continental U.S.

The Sr Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for owning projects targeting the creation, revision and maintenance of Optiv governance documentation. This includes editing and restructuring documents written by colleagues who are not professional writers.  The role will provide recommendations and ideas to improve Optiv messaging strategy and written materials that support the Optiv brand.

The Sr Quality Assurance Analyst will have senior technical writing expertise and an eye for detail to document processes within governance frameworks. Possess the ability to maintain proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency. This role is dedicated to Optiv’s managed services programs and utilizes Optiv GRC frameworks to assist with defining programs, standard operating procedures and user support documentation.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Manage documentation projects from problem statement to closure.

  • Create cybersecurity program documentation following established Optiv frameworks and methodology.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather documentation requirements.

  • Be efficient at working independently and owning tasks.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience writing process documentation from both a content (tone, language, messaging consistency) and graphics/layout perspective (font treatments, good page format such as titles, section breaks, headers/footers, etc.)

  • 3+ years’ experience with technical content creation and editing for external and internal facing documents such as processes, procedures, intranet content, reports, direct mail templates, use case, and knowledge base documents

  • Experience with GRC and ITIL frameworks is preferred.

  • Ability to write about technical subjects for diverse audiences.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading abilities.

  • Strong office tool skillset.

  • A team player, flexible and capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities.
