We have an excellent opportunity for a Sr Program Specialist, Program Management! This role is a critical contributor to the Growth team and is responsible for driving the successful execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives. The role will oversee multiple programs and projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-motivated professional who excels in ambiguous environments, and can independently seek solutions. They will have the proven ability to communicate with ownership and clarity. This is a 100% remote role.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $115,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Program Management & Execution

  • Manage programs end-to-end, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met, requirements are clearly mapped, risks are mitigated, and dependencies are managed effectively.

  • Drive accountability, remove roadblocks, and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Strategic Planning & Alignment

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring programs align with overall business goals.

  • Provide informed insights and recommendations to improve program outcomes and organizational efficiency.

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks and best-in-class operating procedures for program execution.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, marketing, and technical teams.

  • Deliver clear and timely updates on program status, risks, and achievements to executive leadership.

  • Leverage workflow and reporting tools (Wrike, Power BI) and other dashboards to communicate progress and performance metrics.

Operational & Technical Expertise

  • Apply Marketing Operations best-practices to streamline planning, execution, and measurement of Growth team initiatives.

  • Partner with Product Marketing and development teams to manage and optimize tools including Salesforce, the corporate website (Drupal), and marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

  • Support data-driven decision-making through collaboration on system integrations, data quality, and performance reporting.

  • Leverage API and multi-system integration knowledge to enhance data flow between marketing, sales, and analytics tools.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; marketing, economics or related

  • 7+ years of program/project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.

  • Deep understanding of project and program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).

  • Proven ability to manage complex programs with minimal oversight.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Keen attention to organization of files, resources, naming conventions, and overall knowledge management best practices

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.

  • Familiarity with marketing strategy, workflows, campaign planning, and performance measurement.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and CMS/website technologies.

  • Basic understanding of report building, data visualization, and API/system integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification.

  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration between marketing, technology, and business strategy teams.

  • Familiarity with leveraging AI to improve processes and productivity

  • Ability to mentor junior project managers or coordinate PMO best practices.

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Individual Contributor level is $79,200.00 to $110,900.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
